Washington Diamonds Drill Team & Drumline

 Washington Diamonds Award Winning Drill Team evolved in 2010 from the desire of two parents to see our youth from inner city neighborhoods aged 8 to 19 years come together to build a positive environment and develop team building in the community. Our mission is to involve young ladies from diverse backgrounds and cultures to come together and have fun, while teaching our youth to respect themselves and others. Our team fosters professionalism and gives back to the community while celebrating our achievements. Our goals are being accomplished through weekly practices wherein our participants are encouraged to work together to learn challenging choreography, build self-esteem, promote healthy communication among families, volunteer in our communities, and through weekly educational life-skill tips and strategies. .
